Last updated: 23 October 2026
- ✓ No cookies, no ads, no tracking across other websites.
- ✓ Visits are counted anonymously, only as totals.

- ✓ Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
Who is responsible
This is the personal portfolio of Christian Catenacci, based in Milan, Italy, who is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For anything about your data, write to christian.catenaccii@gmail.com.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. To deliver the pages and protect the service from abuse, Netlify’s servers process the technical data every browser sends: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the browser and the referring page. I do not use these logs to identify anyone.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is based in the United States; transfers rely on the safeguards described in Netlify’s privacy policy.
Visit statistics
To know whether the portfolio is useful, I count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Umami does not use cookies, does not save anything on your device and does not build profiles: I only see totals, such as
- which sections and projects are opened, and which website people come from;
- country, language, browser, operating system and screen size;
- a few actions: downloading the CV, copying or clicking the email address, opening links to other websites, unlocking achievements.
If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is counted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More in Umami’s privacy policy.
Stored in your browser
The site uses no cookies. It saves a few small values in your browser’s local storage, only for features you use. They never leave your device and I cannot see them.
| Name | What it remembers | Set when |
|---|---|---|
cpm-ach | The achievements you unlocked | You unlock one |
cpm-seen | The projects you opened (for the “Seen it all” achievement) | You open a project |
cpm-legend | That you unlocked every achievement (the crown on the logo) | You unlock the last one |
cpm-tutorial | That you have already seen the navigation tip | You use the radial menu |
cpm-sound | Interface sounds on or off | You press the sound button |
cpm-theme-pixel | Light or dark theme | You press the theme button |
cpm-notrack | That this browser is left out of the visit statistics | You open the site with ?notrack |
These values are needed for the features you ask for, so no consent is required. To delete them, clear this site’s data in your browser; achievements can also be reset from the trophy list (“Reset”).
Fonts
The fonts are served by this site itself: your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.
If you contact me
If you write to me or call me, I use your details only to reply, and I keep the conversation only as long as it is needed.
Links to other websites
The site links to GitHub, Instagram, Steam, AniList, Milestone and other websites. Nothing is loaded from them while you browse the portfolio; once you open a link, the other website’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15–21 GDPR) by writing to christian.catenaccii@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
